Thomas L. Davenport, II
Thomas L. Davenport, II is a managing director with NextGen Capital. He has more than 20 years of investment banking and capital markets experience, most recently as head of the consumer & industrials corporate finance practice at a leading accounting firm. Mr. Davenport was also an investment banker with William Blair & Company and Citigroup. He has provided advisory and transaction services to clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, energy, technology and healthcare and is experienced in restructuring, corporate development and private equity investing. Mr. Davenport holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago, a Master of Public Administration from CUNY-Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College. He has received accolades throughout his career that include Large Transaction of the Year (Turnaround Management Association / Midwest), Emerging Leaders Award (The M&A Advisor), and Rising Dealmaker (National Association of Investment Companies). He also serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Metro Atlanta and the Board of Advisors for Kennesaw State University’s Family Enterprise Center. Mr. Davenport holds FINRA Series 7, Series 79 and Series 63 licenses.
